Dr. Dana’s journey to chiropractic care is as inspiring as it is unique. Growing up in a humble household with a stay-at-home mom and a father who worked as a janitor, Dr. Dana learned the value of hard work and perseverance from an early age. Neither of her parents had the opportunity to attend college, which only fueled Dr. Dana’s passion for education and helping others.
Before finding her true calling in chiropractic care, Dr. Dana worked as a nurse and in public health. It was during this time that she realized her deep-seated desire to not just treat sickness, but to help people achieve true health and wellness.
A Love of Helping Others
Dr. Dana’s unique background in nursing and public health gives her a comprehensive understanding of the human body and the importance of holistic care. She has since dedicated herself to expanding her knowledge and skills, with a particular focus on pediatric and pregnancy care. Her Webster Certification allows her to provide specialized care for expectant mothers, ensuring optimal health for both mother and child throughout pregnancy and beyond.
Dr. Dana’s journey to chiropractic wasn’t a solo one. In 2003, at the age of 20, she met her future husband and practice partner, Dr. Austin. Together, they made the life-changing decision to uproot their family and return to school to pursue their shared passion for chiropractic care. This experience not only strengthened their bond but also deepened their commitment to family-centered care.
